Ottawa-based Photographer
I am a third-generation photographer from Ottawa. My grandma had a dark room in her house in the Glebe and my dad worked in the 1970s as an assistant to renowned Ottawa photographer, Malak Karsh.
+ Mixing the Art of Travel and Community Photography
My passion for photography took off in university as I traveled abroad and learnt about international relations. In 2006 I went to the West African country of Benin for the first time, where I found great inspiration for my art.
Travel photography remains my favourite genre, but I have equally established firm roots in my community. I regularly participate in photography meetups hosted by CBC Ottawa and IgersOttawa to capture our city's distinctive cultural sights. I also sell hand-made photo cards of Ottawa, which can be found at craft fairs and select retail locations throughout town.

In my shoots, I look to have a perfect blend of portrait and surrounding environment.
